Lawrence L. Huser Astronomy Center is home to the Starsplitters of Wyalusing, a non-profit group with a mission to promote the wonders of stargazing. Located near the border of Wisconsin and Iowa, the astronomy center in Wyalusing State Park is well worth the drive for a less light-polluted view of the night sky. These amateur astronomers were inspired by Robert Frost's poem, "The Star Splitters," which advocated the presence of a telescope "in every town." In addition to members-only meetings and activities, the Starsplitters host monthly programs for the public at Wyalusing State Park.
